How compression works here
Tvnewslaunch.click renders every page to an image at the quality level you pick, then rebuilds a new PDF from those images. This can shrink scanned documents and image-heavy files significantly.
Text-based PDFs (like a Word export) may not shrink much, and text will no longer be selectable in the result — if you need to keep selectable text, this tool isn't the right fit.
Which level should I pick?
Start with "Balanced." If the result is still too large, redo it with "Strong." Use "Light" if the document has fine print you need to keep legible.
Will this keep my PDF searchable?
No — because pages are converted to images, any selectable or searchable text becomes a flat image. Keep a copy of the original if you need that.
